The Conservators' Center

I had the great pleasure of attending the 2013 Tree Toss at The Conservators' Center in Mebane, NC. An amazing collection of animals and a wonderfully knowledgeable staff of volunteers make this a must see NC place.

I took the special "Photo Tour" which allowed me to photograph next to the fence. What an extraordinary experience as a photographer! The photos may make these magnificent cats look cuddly; they are not and must be respected as the wild animals they are. Go close to the fences only if you have an escort!
