Murmuration

Mike Roig, Carrboro metal sculptor, received a commission from the North Carolina Zoo last year. Mike liked my idea of documenting the entire creative process from the concept drawing through the installation. Here you will get a glimpse of Mike's genius-- the creation of the maquette (model) followed by the crafting and installation of the magnificent "Murmuration" on April, 9, 2013.
