Sisters' Garden April 2015

On April 20th, 2015 twin sisters Bernice Wade and Barbara Stiles will turn 100 years old. Their garden in the historic Gimghoul neighborhood in Chapel Hill has been a landmark for over fifty years. I personally mark the beginning of Spring when this garden is in full bloom.

This quote from Bernice Wade in an article by Mark Schultz in the Chapel Hill News says it all: " We wouldn't have lived to be almost 100 (quote from April 2014) without the garden. It keeps us in touch with people."
